Goin to Hotlanta! Yeah!

For Memorial Day, mommy and daddy took me to Atlanta to see Aunt Karin, Uncle Scott, Cousin Savannah, Jay and Heather, and Tony and Molly. It sure was a long way to go and a lot of sitting in my car-seat, but mommy and daddy made sure I got out along the way to stretch my legs and get some breaks. I put my feet in grass on one stop.
But we kept going the first day so we could see where I'm suppose to go to college. Mommy and daddy say it can get cold and windy here, but it sure was sunny and hot while we were walking around. So what is a drill field anyway???
Mommy and daddy showed me Burress Hall and the VT memorial, that was nice but also kind of emotional. Mommy hugged me real close.
We got to stay in a hotel on the way down to Atlanta after we saw Virginia Tech. I got a bed all to myself...it was sooooo big!! I felt like such a big boy in that bed that I picked up a toy for the very first time sitting right where you see me in this picture.
The hotel was cool, but it was so much cooler getting to Atlanta and being welcomed by family. Aunt Karin, Uncle Scott, and Cousin Savannah were so nice...they let us stay with them, helping change diapers, letting me swing on their swing, and Savannah even gave me some really cool toys!! Aunt Karin is so nice!
Cousin Savannah is so cool! She showed me how to play with the toys she gave me, and even helped change a couple diapers. Sorry if my spit-up made you feel icky Savannah, but it sure was fun playing with you!
And thanks Uncle Scott for hanging out with me and sharing your home on such a crazy week for you. You're so cool, and I was blown away when you let me have the remote control!! Daddy doesn't even let me have the remote when we're at home.
Oh, and I got to see Aunt Karin's horse Marley and the barn where all the horsies live. Savannah showed me how you're suppose to ride....she is really good!
Even mommy got to get on and go for a ride. I don't think mommy has ridden for a while, but she looked like a pro to me. Can't wait until I'm bigger and you can show me how to handle a horsie.
Maybe one day I'll hang out in a barn with mommy when I'm a little bigger than I am right now.
Daddy was so happy to introduce me to Uncle Jay, Auntie Heather, and Ava. They live just outside Atlanta and we went by to see them and celebrate Auntie Heather's birthday. We had so much fun!
Happy Birthday Auntie Heather...and congratulations to Ava! Maybe one day mommy will tell me I'm gonna be a big brother like you got told you'll be a big sister! Awesome!
I also got to meet Daddy's buddy Uncle Tony and my new pal Jack. Sorry we didn't get to hang out more Jack, but we'll have to chill again next time. And Auntie Molly was so nice to give me presents...I'm already wearing some of them and she gave me some more! You guys are too much!!
Oh, can't forget that I got to go to a game ranch. Aunt Karin and Savannah know this place well, but it was all new to me, mommy, and daddy. What fun!
I fed chickens, deer, pigs, bunnies...and I even fed a Bear with Daddy!
...and I fed a goat too! He had slobber lips and like carrots!
And mommy almost kissed the slobber lips...but gave him carrots instead.
It was a great trip to Atlanta, but we stopped again on the way back. That's when I got to see Great Gram....daddy's grandmom. She was so nice. She held me, and showed me off to her friends, and she and mommy and daddy talked a whole lot. It was such a nice visit with her....and such a great trip overall. I like me some roadtrips!!!!

3 months! What, already?

Holy cow! You're kidding! 3 months already? Where does the time go?

So let's see, what happened recently. Well, I saw Auntie Heather and some of mommy and daddy's friends in Richmond. Auntie Heather even let me work on my "stuff" while she was holding me....such a nice person.

I learned how to sit up on my own while visiting Grandpa and Grandma Susu. This was tricky, but sure is cool...I feel like a big boy.

And I went to the beach for the first time! Mommy said I was too young to lay in the sun like she does....but I do like all the fish I caught.

Grandma Susu also taught me how to use my toy that comes with my bimbo chair. This thing is so cool!!! Thanks for the lesson Susu!

I also got to see my cousin Olivia and Auntie Liz and Uncle Will. It was sooooo nice to see them. I hope I can be as cool as my cousin Olivia one day...she is awesome!

Week 11 sure was fun

Hey, so it was a busy week. First, I learned how to really hold up this big heavy thing on my neck...they call it a head...I call it mahhhamaaahhh meaahhh. You guys are all way off with your pronunciations.

And since I was able to get better control of my mahhhamaaahhh meaahhh...mommy and daddy let me face forward in my baby bjorn. Ooooooooooo.....ahhhhhhhh!

And mommy and daddy took me to the National Aquarium where we saw a whole bunch of fishes. I saw a doctor fish, and damsel fish, and clown fish...and a octopus...and even some alligators! It was so cool! Mommy, when do I get a fish tank at home to drool at with daddy???

And we went to the Pershing Park too! It was neat, they had a big waterfall...and a whole bunch of ducks. I can't wait until I'm big enough to feed the ducks.

And we capped off a great tour around town and crashed by the reflecting pool and the Lincoln Memorial. It was so pretty out.

Ohhh, and I got a new room! Mommy and daddy said I got upgraded!

I know this will help mommy sleep better at night now that I'm still in earshot, but not so close so she can hear me just squirming. I love you mommy, sleep more so when we hang out we can both be as playful as we want to be. Yeah!!!

Wooha! Week 10

Whaaa happened? 10 whole weeks, you're kidding...I was just asleep, so did we miss something?

Haha, doesn't matter...here I am!

And who did I see? I saw my uncle Christopher! Wow, he even held me in his suit and tie...daddy is normally too afraid I'll spit up on him for that. Uncle Christopher got big mawbles...that's what daddy says.

Oh and then Grandma came to see me. She was a whole lot of fun!

Hmmmm, do I want to play? Of course I do Grandma!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

My first ball-game! Go Nats!!

Sorry mommy and daddy...and Grini...but I just wasn't ready to take a bottle and let mommy and daddy get out of town for a night. Grini, they'll have to hang out and celebrate your birthday later.

But, it wasn't all bad that they stayed in town. They took me to a baseball game!

First, we got on the metro with Grandma SuSu and Grandaddy and rode out to the game. Mommy strapped me on and we caught the yellow train.
And when we got off the train, Grandaddy chatted some friendly people and found someone who would sell us some good tickets. We were pretty close to the field and mommy and daddy said the seats were really good...and I had a lot of fun sitting with everyone on their laps and walking around the ballpark.
I was kind of sad to ride back home, but all us Greenes (and Webbs) jumped on the green metro line and rode out and switched trains and eventually made it home again. What an awesome day!

Going up to Saltville!

Weeeee....mountain roads are fun! I went out to the farm in the mountains and had me a good time! This is where my grandad grew up, and mommy and I went out to visit with all the family that were making the trip to hang out together. It's so pretty up here!
Grandaddy and Gradma SuSu showed me off to everyone. I always have fun when people dote on me. I sure do love my new backpack that Cortney and the family gave me...it even has my name on it.
It was really cool to see Grandad in his element too. I guess he was right at home...cuz he was.
Gradad show me around and pointed out all the good stuff. I see why he likes it so much here, it feels like home to me too.
And Grandma SuSu knew how to make the days so much fun. We hung out on the porch with Neela, it was such a pretty day.
So pretty that everyone was playing outside, even the grown-ups. Cousin Michael (of the fabulout Jaime and Michael) dared to play against Grandaddy in corn-hole...we won't mention who won...but they had a good time.
And here we are, the big whopping Webb family...all sitting on the porch. It was cool seeing everyone and being with everyone. I just hope they didn't mind....
...that I had a few tummy troubles and stank up the place. What?! We were outside!
